I’ve just started working with Dr. Sorkin, but I’m already impressed with her practice. Her front office staff is attentive, kind, and clearly invested in doing their job well. What a breath of fresh air! Dr. Sorkin is very thorough and treats you like a real, whole person, even if you’ve just met. After doing a comprehensive examination, she takes the time to sit with you and explain what she sees and the treatment she recommends. Both she and her hygienist, Brittany, show genuine interest in your health & well being, and actually make time to discuss any questions you have. I’m so glad to have found Dr. Sorkin and her team!

I needed gum surgery and had a wonderful experience with this practice. The front office staff, Justine Crumrine and Amanda, are welcoming and helpful. Olivia, Dr. Sorkin’s dental assistant, is pleasant and professional. Dr. Sorkin is gentle and does good work. She must be good to work for, because her staff are devoted to her. I was going to give the practice five stars, but when I returned to have my stitches taken out, I was surprised and disappointed that Dr. Sorkin did not come into the exam room to see the results of her surgery and to ask if I had any questions. She is the only surgeon I have seen who hasn’t personally checked on his or her work. I would have liked her reassurance that the surgery had gone well and the result was as she expected. Through Olivia, I relayed two messages to Dr. Sorkin, with Olivia returning with Dr. Sorkin’s answers—once when I was in the exam room and again when I came back because I had forgotten a question. I found this unusual. When I expressed my concerns to Dr. Sorkin, she replied that she trusts Olivia completely and that she had called me to see if I had any questions or concerns. I had just met Olivia and, while I thought she was nice and professional, I did not consider her a stand in for a periodontist. Yes, Dr. Sorkin called me, but it was on a Sunday, six days after my surgery. My questions didn’t warrant calling a doctor’s cell phone on a weekend, so I waited until my office visit to ask them. You will be well taken care of at this practice, but Dr. Sorkin could show a little more concern.

This is the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I used to have anxiety issues when going to the dentist due to a few not so pleasant painful experiences with other dentist. This de dentist is great. Explains all procedures and ensures you are comfortable during all procedures. The front office staff is very welcoming a d upbeat. A very pleasant atmosphere. I definitely recommend this dentist.
